Summit Fever

**Six weeks of season. One mountain. One body.**
You get a route and a season. Everything else you earn: the
acclimatisation you build by sleeping high, the gear you carry up
yourself, the weather window you either catch or miss.
There are no experience points, no levels and no upgrades. The only
thing that grows is how well your body has adapted — and only for
as long as you keep working at it.
**What you actually do**
- Carry gear up and stock the camps. Nothing appears at Camp III by itself.
- Sleep high, work low. Acclimatisation is the whole game.
- Read the forecast and decide when to go. The window is rarely convenient.
- Handle what the route gives you: crevasses, fixed ropes, ice walls, rockfall, seracs.
- Set your turnaround time — and decide whether to break it.
**The weather is simulated in five altitude bands, separately.** It can
be dead still at base camp while sixty kilometres an hour scours the
summit ridge. You will not always be able to see what you are walking
into.
**Getting up is half of it.** The results table records the summit and
the descent as two different things, because on these mountains they
are.
---
**In this demo you climb three routes on three different mountains:**
- **K2** — Abruzzi Spur
- **Makalu** — Normal Route
- **Cho Oyu** — Normal Route
Three different faces, three different seasons.
The full version adds **Everest, Lhotse and Kangchenjunga** and every
remaining route — **32 routes across six mountains**, each with its own
board, its own camps and its own obstacles.
---
**Plays in your browser.** Nothing to install, works offline once loaded.
**Polish and English** — switch in the menu.
Made with AI assistance: the photographs, and much of the writing and code. The route lines were placed by hand from archive topos, and every design decision is mine.

## Po polsku
**Sześć tygodni sezonu. Jedna góra. Jedno ciało.**
Dostajesz drogę i sezon. Resztę musisz sobie wypracować:
aklimatyzację budujesz nocami wysoko, sprzęt wynosisz sam, a okno
**Wejście to połowa sprawy.** Tabela wyników zapisuje szczyt i zejście
